I feel hopeful. Because in life, that's all I have.

Note to self, practice on controlling anger. Get out of the habit of shouting in hopes to get a point across. Try and become more patient. Remember to breathe.

Surprisingly, I have a short temper. I try not to show it often because it's not one of my most favorite qualities, but it's within me. I try my best to contain it.

That's why I write. It's a lovely de-stressor and it helps me get my feelings out in an organized way. Also, I try to refrain from raising my voice by writing down my frusterated shouts.

I wish I wasn't so short tempered. I am really ashamed of my angry tendencies.

But no worries, like I said I try my best to contain this part of me. It's just people like my parents that find ways to leak it out of me.

Anyhow, on to happier thoughts. I've been reading though some poetry I've written and have been posting some of my favorites on my site. It's been tough trying to track it all down though because silly me is spread out within 3 online journals, and 3 notebooks.

Im considering University of Iowa. Best creative writing department by far according to no other than my creative writing teacher.

Im so excited, there are numerous things I want to learn about!

My main interests are writing, psychology, astronomy, earth science, art, and drama. So many choices, and I have all my life to learn about them =D

I am also interested in fitness and health. I have learned a lot in F4L.

The human body never ceases to amaze me. I appreciate the beauty of it, and the miracle of life. I would like to learn more about how and why the body works the way it does. Especially the mind. Think about all that your brain contains. Think about the words you read and comprehend within seconds. Think about how you can recall memories and form visuals in your head like slide shows...all from complex chemical reactions and active neurons. It feels so easy to do these things and that makes it so easy to take advantage of them but really...it's amazing one could do such a feat. And dreams, where do they come from? What sparks some of these thoughts? Are they merely for entertainment or do they have some significant meaning? Think about all the work your body does while you are sleeping in order to prep itself for the next day? Lucid dreams...you can control your dreams after a lot of practice. The possibilities one has just living...you never know what you are capable of. Do you think Edison knew all his life he was going to invent the lightbulb? Or that Marie Curry would discover Radium? Each and every one of us is just as capable of creating or discovering something mindblowing like that. How do you think it happened in the first place? Our minds are infinite...

I could go on forever. Humans are just so interesting.

I need to study and sleep though.
