about me
Alotta my pals say that I am pretty random, and i like to think out side of the box alot. Im pretty crazy but not in the straight jacket sorta way ya kno. I like to send letters to my friends cuz everyone likes to get real mail every once and a while. I also like to leave messages on answering machines. Those are a few joys in my life. Another joy in my life is my friends. They put happy into my life just being there. They are my favorite people and I would do anything for them. There are many other joys in my life such as my dog and writing. There are sum downs too but the good stuff makes up for it. Ya can't let the bad bring ya down too much bcuz then life gets a little harder everyday cuz its just bringin ya down. Movin on, Im kinda spastic and goofy and thats aways fun. I like to have fun and smile and have a good time. I'm never usually serious but sometimes I am when I write. Other than that, I usually am never serious cuz its just not me. It would just be weird. But hey I'm weird too and sponaneous so ya never know what to expect outta me I am just a firecracker that just never stops goin. Ya think the pop stops but no it keeps on goin. I can also be refered to as spark plug cuz i dunno i guess im sparky but okay. Thats about all the main stuff, you'll learn the rest in time.

Well, ladies and gents, it has been a week. One full, action packed week since my last writing. I need to start writing in my outside journal little overviews so I can elaborate on here.

I already wrote about Monday so that's cool.
Tuesday, I went with Brendan, Angelina, and her little sister to visit Grace at the hospital. Before that, I picked up some flowers and a Disney princess balloon for her. Abby Leigh put a nice note on the receit for Gracie. As we were driving to St. Therese, I was rememebering little things from my childhood and such because I used to live in that part of Waukegan. It's different since I moved, but then again- it's all the same. Isn't it funny how things end up like that? What I used to call home is now this totally different place that I will forever recognize.
Anyway, so we got to the hospital and I saw Gracie for the first time post-David's party. Luckily, she was getting out that Thursday, but I was sad I wasn't able to visit her any earlier so as to keep her company in the hospital. We all talked for a few hours and I am amazed at how strong she is. Seriously, to see someone who is so independent have to become so dependent is heart-breaking. And Gracie is still so very independent and willing to start weening off this dependence and doign things on her own again. I think all of us brought some sunshine to her that day, and despite being couped up in the hospital, she brought me sunshine, too.

After that, Angelina, her sister, Brendan, and I went to Pepe's. We talked about all sorts of things and our waiter Gus was fantastic! He was the nicest waiter I have ever had in my life. He made a mistake and gave my order to some other table, so he gave me free dessert. He gave Angelina free flan and took her constructive critisim well. I think everyone should stop by Pepe's and get some awesome spanish dish- just so you can meet the guy. He's sweet. I cant guarantee free food, but it's the thought that you are meeting one of the friendliest waiters you may ever meet in your life.

Shotgun is a stupid game- especially when played with two stubborn, competitive people lol. I love you just the same, kiddo.

To be continued...swimming is in the cards.

Amy and Chrissy slept over. We doodled with chalk, made smores, and took pictures by the lake. The pictures turned out beautifully because all you could see were our sillhoettes dancing with the sunset in the backround. We are amazing. We went back to my house and watched Josie and the Pussycats. I would nod off frequently but by the end of the movie, I got my third wind. We ran around my basement and took more pictures. They also turned out really amusing-like. We went to sleep really early in the morning and I almost got to see the sunrise but we had a big day ahead of us.

Wednesday, the trio of us got in the car and picked up Tim (blushes). We got to 12:45pm train to Chicago and met up with Aurimas + his sister. We walked the streets and had the best intentions of hitting up the museums but no dice. So we ended up playing at Millenium Park and seeing some familiar faces from home. Crazy small world, you know? Amy, Tim, and I played in the water for a while and it was nice. The trainride back was super cold, though. Most of us ended up cuddling and falling asleep. We decided to call it a day when we got home because we were all very tired. Actually, I didn't call it a day completely. I had other plans to watch movies. I called Abby Leigh and Brendan over. Abby brought Chris and we all watched I Heart Huckabees. After seeing it a lot, I understood it more and more. I could actually pick up on what Albert was discovering. Amazing, I know- haha. After the movie, we talked and goofed around. Abby and Chris left, and Brendan and I went to Wal-Mart to get him some food. Do not shop when hungry. I wasn't hungry but Brendan was and we were about to buy the whole food section. We almost got some cappichino yum but their flavors were limited. Rib TV dinners always suck, but when you are hungry- you fail to recognize these things. It's not even really meat 99.9% of the time.

We fell asleep to an insect show and woke up to an Orca show. They showed a whale's vagina. Whoa damn, not something you want to wake up to. Very interesting show, otherwise. Brendan left and I took a shower. I gave Erin a ring-a-ding and we went to St. Peter's rummage sale. I met a boy named Jeremy. He has a very confusing to pronounce last name but I think I got it now; I just can't spell it for shit. Anyway, he was working the lemonade stand and he was really friendly. He's a bass player in two bands. He said he would come to my lemonade/bake sale stand. I hope I see more of him because I am really interested. I got some sweet plaid pants and darth vader sunglasses. Erin got a pimp suit that blew my mind. We went back to her house and made food. Then we played boardgames and I went home.

Friday was a beach. Abby Leigh and I went grocery shopping for our beach picnic. We kept disagreeing on food and it was funny because for the longest time, we had a hopelessly empty cart. So we started to compromise and that's when the cart began to fill. We busted out the coolers at my house and started filling them. Before that, Hannah arrived as well as Manda. We all stuffed the goodies into the cooler the best we could and it closed. We picked up Brendan and Chris then headed to Silver Lake. When we got there, we stripped down and ran toward the water. We played for a long time and Brendan, Manda, and I went skinny dipping past the buoys. It was a very refreshing feeling. We put our suits back on and we all ate lunch. We intended on having a cook-out but the two times I made fire, it blew out with the insane winds. Luckily, we brought PB & J supplies- Manda's idea. We adopted a little girl for about 15 minutes. We fed her and everything lol. Then her mom got mad because she went past the sand but she should have been watching her better. Damn stupid people. The little girl was just being a kid and wandering. Hannah and Manda left. Brendan, Abby, Chris and I played in the water some more. Brendan and I would whip each other with the sea weed and tackle each other. It was a grand time. We drove home with the windows open and the music blaring. Beautiful.

I showered and then Hannah picked me up to go to the concert. There I saw James, whom I havent seen in a long time. I love that boy. Tim (blushes again) came and we hung out for most of the concert. We went to Ace and got some beverages then hung out by Hannah's car. Soon it was a party because people kept joining our little group. Jeremy arrived at the show and it was sweet to see him. I got really excited because I just told Hannah about how it'd be cool if he came to the show. After hanging out with the boys, they invited us to watch them practice (they meaning Pat, Mike, Dave, and Jeremy). We saw who we wanted to see at the show (Cyntext) and voted for them (it was Battle of the Bands) so we went to Pat's. Tim went back into the show and that was a bummer but then again, it would have been really akward to be in the company of two boys you are interested in. I got to know Jeremy a little more (don't get any ideas) and we all had fun goofing off. They played for a little while but weren't able to play the drums because it would have been too loud. Instead, Dave played the bongos. Not the same effect as drums, obviously, and it was barely audible with the guitars + amps. We ended up listening to music then watching TV. It was a lovely time. It was really nice being the only two girls with all the boys. Jeremy smells really good and Pat gives really nice hugs.

I found out that the other band Jeremy is in, so is my friend Ryan McFadden. Seriously, small flipping world. I met Ryan a few years ago and we almost dated. But things were confusing and weird since our families knew each other. My godmother wanted me to pretty much marry him and when families encourage you to date someone, things just get weird and distorted. So we just let it go. He's still a cool guy though and we are still friends. It's totally crazy that I'm into Jeremy now and they are bandmates. Seriously, weird.

Saturday, my ma, sister and I got our haircuts. My hairdresser, Katie, quit. I don't want to talk about it- it's a tender subject. I had to get my haircut by a new lady and we didn't talk at all. ::Pout:: We delayed a lot because this was the day of my ma's surprise birthday party. We picked up my gramma and hung out at her apartment for a while. She showed us her garden and everyone elses, too. We went to Butera to get some goodies and I hung out with Abby Leigh on her break. Conviniently enough, when I got there, she was on break so woot for me. We couldn't delay long at Butera because gramma was still in the car and should could like die from heat exaustion. No good, dude. So we left and went back to our house. Ma was totally surprised, it was a beautiful moment to see her face light up when she realized all her loved ones were there just to see her and surprise her. And here she thought her birthday would be like any other day. Never.

It was crazy seeing family I haven't seen since about christmas. There is always that akward few hours before you can warm up to the cousins, at least for me. I had to be mini-hostess which was lame since my dad did all the prep when I was gone delaying with my ma and sis. I had no idea where he put things or where he wanted them, etc. So I was also a guest. But a guest who had to entertain the cousins. I invited them to the park but the parentals were lame and had us stick around. We ended up watching TV in the basement. Actually, we were moreso watching the babies interact. Two babies making friends with each other is like watching two monkeys playing. Seriously, it's something you could come across on the Discovery channel. It was very interesting. I was holding one of the little monkeys later in the evening and oh my goodness, she is the cutest thing in the world. She was getting really sleepy so she would nuzzle her face into my chest/shoulders. I love holding babies, especially when they cling on to me like I'm their protector. I love them even more when they don't spit up on me/make stinkies while I am holding them. I just about melted when she was in my arms because she was so adorable. I refuse to talk baby talk because that's just crazy but I will turn into a sillier Jenny for the baby's sake.

After a while, I tried hanging out with my uber shy cousin again. When I asked her if she wanted to play basketball or a board game with me, she just smiled and looked at the TV. Sometimes my family freaks me out. So I took a nap on the couch. Then I got a phonecall and it was Chani. I asked my ma if it would be okay if I hung out with Chani and she said it was. The idea was, we were going to dress up in crazy clothes and take pictures everywhere. So I put on my sweet 70's clothes that I got from thrifting. Chani and Emma had sweet dresses on and Uri was decked out in trendyness. We took pictures in the tall grass, at the lake, at the park, all over town. We were supa cool. We stopped by the soda fountain. We got free stuff at the theater. We reinacted the gas-station scene from Zoolander sans the gasoline fight. Then we went back to the Bockwinkle house and watched Zoolander. Then we played in the rain. I made rice with seaweed and Chani and I had oreos with peanut butter for the first time ever. Yum.

I got up at 6am the next morning and showered. Pop's picked me up at 6:30am. I ate some strawberries and then Brendan picked me up. We just made it to the train station and Erin held the doors for us. We were really tired because we all went to bed late and woke up too early for our own good. We stayed awake though and were in good spirits. We hopped from the train to the L in order to get closer to our destination- Boystown. We got there and we watched the parade. I got whipped twice and that was hot. I also got many compliments on my hat. Brendan and Gio got a lot of attention lol. Umm, discovered a sweet store called Beatniks. Definately going back there. That store is AMAZING.

Trainride on the way home was hilarious. Gay-gus in the making. Mr. GLBTQ's haha. Ah, we made lots of funnies. I enjoyed hanging out with our group. The whole day was a load of fun. After pride, Erin, Bren, and I went to McDonalds and got food as well as wished Joe a happy birthday. Then we went back to my house and vegged out. Brendan and I split up our goodies and it felt like halloween. They went home and I crashed in bed.

I slept a whole lot. My gramma got back from the hospital and her arteries are all clean, according to the doc. She is uber healthy and he wishes he had her arteries. That says something. I celebrated with Brendan in his pool and we played shark. It started raining but not lightening so we stayed in the pool since we were already wet. I talked to his ma while he changed and she is very nice. Bren and I rented movies and came back just in time for dinner. We ate and had interesting conversations about technology. Then we went to the soda fountain and the lady probably figured we were some dysfunctional couple but she has no idea. I talked to a girl I recognized from somewhere but I forgot where. Then I remembered and I was relived. After our shakes, we walked around Mainstreet and in the nature walk. We read all the signs and saw a beaver in the lake. It was a lovely evening. We went back to my house and watched a trippy movie. Brendan left and I went to sleep.

OIIIIII and today, Amy, Chrissy, and I got icecream. We blowed bubbles on my lawn and then Amy had to go to work. I got a new bikini. It's hot. I guess I like it. I had no choice because the choice was limited. I'd find cute bottoms but no top to match. LAME. So I finally found something I was okay with that had a matching top and bottom in my sizes. It was such a bitch shopping, ugh, I was so pissed. Who the fuck buys half a bikini? Why not get the other half? It would sure as hell make life easier.

Tomorrow, a few of the bakers and lemonade makers are coming together to make it happen. I'm talkin gathering the 2 by 4's and nailin away. Painting it up old school style. But we won't be able to open up for a week because most of us will be gone. I am leaving soon. So we will start building the stand hopefully and making the advertisements. Then Amy, Chrissy, and I are going grocery shopping because we are making dinner for each other. We plan to have a picnic on my front lawn with all our homemade food fresh from the kitchen and candles and stuff. We are totally cool. I heart us.

And there's that. I either need to remember to update or just fuck it and depennd on my memory to remember all these things. Because this took hella long.

I am wearing my bikini now and it's comfy. That's a plus. I am really enjoying life right now. I can accurately say that I look forward to everyday. I want pancakes and my sexy brazilian name is Talita Assunção. Mmm, if I could pronounce it, I think it'd be hot. And on VH1's Hottest Hotties list, Angelina Jolie came second to BEYONCE. WTF is this world coming to? Women would go LESBIAN for Angelina. Gay ment would go STRAIGHT for her. All Beyonce has going for her is a ghetto booty. ::shakes head:: What the hell...Angelina is totally hotter than Beyonce. Ugh.

Okay, bed time. Big day tomorrow. Love to all and then some =)

Jenny at 2:00 PM
