about me
Alotta my pals say that I am pretty random, and i like to think out side of the box alot. Im pretty crazy but not in the straight jacket sorta way ya kno. I like to send letters to my friends cuz everyone likes to get real mail every once and a while. I also like to leave messages on answering machines. Those are a few joys in my life. Another joy in my life is my friends. They put happy into my life just being there. They are my favorite people and I would do anything for them. There are many other joys in my life such as my dog and writing. There are sum downs too but the good stuff makes up for it. Ya can't let the bad bring ya down too much bcuz then life gets a little harder everyday cuz its just bringin ya down. Movin on, Im kinda spastic and goofy and thats aways fun. I like to have fun and smile and have a good time. I'm never usually serious but sometimes I am when I write. Other than that, I usually am never serious cuz its just not me. It would just be weird. But hey I'm weird too and sponaneous so ya never know what to expect outta me I am just a firecracker that just never stops goin. Ya think the pop stops but no it keeps on goin. I can also be refered to as spark plug cuz i dunno i guess im sparky but okay. Thats about all the main stuff, you'll learn the rest in time.

Three days seemed to just fly by because the last I remember- it was monday afternoon.

I'm in love with the world.

Vik's Movie-athon
-Same group, couple of new members. Cool. We are like a club. The 'athon club. We talk, eat, and do 'athons.
-Scrabble. I'm not to hot in that game but I was Pete's sidekick in whomping everyone. I don't think we did. I kept getting distracted.
-Concert every Friday and Saturday at the Planetarium. They play music and put on a lightshow to the rhythm. We are definately going. Good music is always a plus. And a lightshow? Friggen sweet plus.
-Brittany's weird mixes. That just says it all right there.
-The Vagina Monologues. Very, very entertaining. Many quotes from that movie to be used in later conversations. "My vagina is ANGRY!" I never heard 'cunt' chanted so many times in so many different voices...ever. "Where's Tom?" "Vagina, motha fuckas!" Oh lordy, I have never laughed so hard.
-Brendan and Tim join. What fun we have :)
-Deep discussion on homosexuality + religion. Very interesting to hear all the different opinions. Learned a lot about everyone. Different sides to people showed that night and it was nice.
-Pumped about Chicago Pride.
-Carly and boys left =/ Only our original group was left except we were missing a few regular members. Mind you, I say group because it's the usual people who attend on a regular basis.
-Sat in kitchen and ate food + conversed. This is pretty much our tradition. We chow down on Vik's healthy-as-hell-food and talk. So we are normally located in the kitchen/dining room. We end up just sitting on her kitchen floor and eat/talking. That night, we kept moving the garbage can over because it was getting in the way of our sitting spots (which also seemed to migrate ever so slowly toward the living room). We'd move the garbage can over and sit. Then for some reason we'd get up to make food or something and sit down again, but in a shifted spot to where the garbage can would be in the way again. These kitchen hangouts will always stick out in my mind, no matter how insignificant they seem. I just find it beautiful how we can just plop ourselves anywhere and still have a blast. And I feel so comfortable just sitting with these friends and talking about anything. We eat, we talk, we do 'athons. Sometimes we even rock the board games. We are just special and I am very happy we are so tight-knit.
-Erin takes a while to get ready for bed.
-Sleep on trampoline. The beauty of it is that it is all open, unlike the tent. It's safe because it's above ground and comfy enough to lay on and sleep. And I love how no matter how much you try to maintain your space from people, the gravity of our weight pulls us to the center of the trampoline and we end up cuddling anyway. I don't mind, I love to cuddle. It was sweet.
-Truth, Truth, or Truth. Hahaha- oh jeez, it's been a while since I played these games. We were too lazy to do the other options such as Dare or Double Dare. So we altered it lol. Again, I learned a lot about my friends and I saw different sides to them I never seen/noticed before. It was interesting.
-4am we are still awake. It's getting lighter out and the birds are singing. I remain awake as I try to soak it all in- the trees swaying, the clouds moving, the sky turning lighter, the sun peaking the horizon...just the way things look and sound at this early in the morning. It is very rare I am up at this time so I wanted to remember and experience the glory of a new day right at it's start. It was amazing. The sun progressively became more visable and I could feel the warmth on my skin. I crawled completely out of my sleeping bag and sprawled on the tramp so I could feel the sun flow over me.
-I slept for two hours, more or less. At 7am, I woke up because it is difficult not to notice someone get up when on a trampoline. Everything shifts and it's like the world moving, almost. At least that's what it feels like when you are half-asleep.
-Breakfast time! Omlettes, pancakes, and yogurt- oh my! We chowed down. I made the pancakes. We drank tea and looked at magazines. We act like we are all roommates who've lived together for a long time. We are just so comfortable in each other's presence.
-Chanski's leaves. Then there was three. The three of us watched Daria except I fell asleep. I napped for a while I s'pose and I woke up to a extreme game of Scrabble. It was amusing to watch while still in a daze. Amanda made us lunch and it was lovely. We had black-eyed beans, rice, and fresh salad with nuts, dried cranberries, and the essential salad ingredients. All doused in vinegar and oil, as well as fresh herbs and spices. Lovely.
-Bad voicemail followed by a good one. Vickie takes me home and we discuss many a things. With the windows open and the music playing, smiles and laughter- I felt more alive and happy than ever. And this was only the start of my day.

A Walk in the Woods
- Ashton gives me a ring-a-ling. She invites me to a walk in the woods with Chanski's. I ride my bike over.
- Chani picks us up and we go to McDonalds Woods. We decided to take the left fork on the woodchip trails. Still on the 'DeMarco house diet', I have cravings for everything. I see a nice spot with a beautiful view and I crave a picnic. I faintly hear the icecream man and I crave icecream. Chani suffers the same symptoms.
-Power walk Rummel style.
-Joke about my soccer appearel. What can I say? Soccer shorts and shoes are mighty comfy. And you never know when someone is gonna ask you if you wanna play soccer or something.
-Get lost in Woods. Trying to keep calm but slightly frantic. There is no end in sight to this trail it seems. How are we going to get out?
-Whoa...where did this man come from? He is suddenly following us. Thank goodness, a map. Let's go that way- Chani runs. Ashton and I stick around the map to make sure we are going the right way. Creepy man following gives us directions. He's not so creepy. We thank him and start jogging. Ashton has to be home at a certain time and we will barely make it.
-We make it. We are panting from the heat but damn proud. We go home.

Napping again until the arrival of a friend
-Brendan calls. He comes over and we plan to play boardgames but do not. No good TV shows on today. Disappointment with the media. Gotta get out of the house.
-Twisted Cow is closed at 9:30pm. What the hell? Damn vacas...
-Vegas instead. Cappichino and coffee. Waiter who snorts coke, we laugh about that. Obnoxious. We're laughing outloud and completely comfortable. Compliments that go wrong leave laughter and confusion. We have a very weird relationship. It's a love/hate except I find it hard to love him...or hate him, rather (kidding, it's all love).
"I don't know, he's polish, though, so his last name probably consists of something-owski."
"Bastard! I'm part polish and I'm offended. I just recently had the -owski removed from my last name."
-Abby Lee made an appearance. It's been a while.
-Megggily and gang visited our table, as well. Unfortunately, they were once again banished to the far back corner. Sexy wigs but no sexy outfits. I guess they went full-costume another night and I just happened to miss it. Damn.
Pretty boy, nice to look at, sweet transvestite. It will be a sexy show. I look forward to the goodies that come along with it-mmmmm :)
-Not even going to try to spell it since I always forget how to pronounce it. But it's another name for a whore-house. Brendan gave me a lovely tour of Rock Lake and his family's history intertwined within. He would talk and I would listen- it was very interesting learning about his past.
-Went to his house and then to blockbuster. Scary movie night, we declared. We were there for a while, trying to pick out the scariest movies. Then the search switched to gay movies. We ended up with Possessed, S.I.C.K., and I don't fully recall but I will take a stab at it- A Question of Love. Again, not completely sure about the last title but close enough.

Possessed was terrible. We ended up getting really annoyed by it but I was still lured to see if the boy would be fixed or not. So I would randomly chapter-skip till we finally got to the end. I found closure and the torture finally ended.

A Question of Love was very good. It was a foreign film from France (so it was in French, obviously) and had english subtitles. For a gay movie, it was very good. And by saying "for a gay movie..." I simply mean that it would appeal more to gay men. I am not a gay man, but I found appreciation anyway. It was well written and portrayed the life of a homosexual man in an unaccepting family. Basically, he had reason to be afraid to come out to his family. So he avoided it at all costs by playing heterosexual in front of them. Then he fell in love and this life of lying became more and more complicated. It is a difficult thing to hide love. In this case, it is hard to decide whether he should risk the acceptance of his family and come out, making him officially allowed to love his partner in public without the fear of getting caught or found out. Or, if he should just remain closeted- keeping him on good terms with his parents but lying to them as well as himself. It is a very tough decision, especially with very unaccepting parents. What I like is that it's not sugar coated at all. It is very truthful, worst case scenario, "it could really happen" sort of thing. It is very possible that some homosexual children could get disowned by their parents. It is very sad to think about but very possible. And every homosexual has to consider that as a worst case scenario situation. It's a shame but it's true. Not everyone is as accepting as others. The realness of it was wow-worthy and you can even take something away from it. It's a good movie to show the less accepting people because maybe it would help them understand more. Very good. And french men speaking french is fucking hot.

S.I.C.K. was just about the best movie ever. The cinematography was phenomenal and the dialogue was the best I've heard yet. It literally blew me away. Everyone should see it at least twice. I know I have. Brendan and I give it two appreciating thumbs up and 5.5 stars. Those actors are definately going to make it big. I can't wait for a sequel. I hope it's V.O.M.I.T. or something cool like that. And I hope it stands for Vile Ogres Making Insane Tyranny. Sweet. I'll pre-order my tickets now.

-We were up till 5:30am. The sunrise again was pretty-ful. We slept till 11:30am-ish. Layed around, watched Unsolved Mysteries...made breakfast. Brendan leaves and I did dishes. Then I showered. And I napped. Now I'm hungry. Dinner.

Tonight

Eternal Sunshine
